Ukraine: Margarita Potapova and Crew Escape Drone Attack as Russia's Assault on Press Continues

Russian drone targets journalist Margarita Potapova and her Ukrainian Witness film crew near Zaporizhzhia. The drone dropped a grenade near their car, but they managed to evacuate quickly. Potapova experienced temporary hearing loss, but fortunately, no one was seriously injured.
This attack is just the latest Russian assault on journalists covering the war in Ukraine. In 2024, 9 women journalists were injured in Russian missile and drone attacks.
