Journalists from team at Equipo de Investigación at La Sexta TV are under attack by Daniel Esteve, CEO of Desokupa, following their investigation into his company’s eviction practices.
Esteve has used social media to target a woman reporter, threatening to doxx her and reveal staff addresses and their children's school locations. He’s also encouraged his followers to harass the journalists with harmful content. This dangerous online harassment must not be ignored.
Women Press Freedom strongly denounces attacks and calls on authorities to protect the reporters and hold Esteve accountable.
