On December 9, 2024, Espreso TV journalist Maria Ivanovska was threatened by an armed man in Kremenchuk while investigating alleged sales of banned Russian oil products.

Russian drones targeted Hromadske journalists Ksyusha Savoskina and Oleksiy Nikulin. Their car, carrying filming equipment, was destroyed in an explosion. Forced to walk 3km under drone threats, they narrowly escaped injury.

Journalist Kristina Demeter Filipčev was verbally and physically attacked while covering the "Stop Serbia" protest in Bečej, Vojvodina.

While covering the “Stop, Serbia” rally in Belgrade on November 22, 2024, Nova journalist Ana Marković was punched by an angry driver, who also knocked her phone to the ground. Nearby bystanders intervened to defend her.

Women Press Freedom strongly condemns the targeted attack by Israeli forces on a compound housing 18 journalists, including Yumna Fawaz, in the early morning hours. Fawaz, in a direct statement to Women Press Freedom, noted that the compound had been designated as a safe zone for journalists; however, three journalists were killed in this attack.

Women Press Freedom strongly condemns the violent actions taken by a Lancaster City Police officer against photojournalist Susan Stava during her coverage of a Donald Trump town hall event. Stava, a seasoned journalist with over 30 years of experience, was pushed to the ground while documenting a public protest, a clear violation of press freedom and the rights of journalists to report safely and without interference.

Heval Onkol was beaten and threatened, while Ceylan Şahinli faced multiple attempts to obstruct her reporting.

Alleged cult leader Kadir Bouasrya attacked Barbara Di Palma during a live broadcast for Rai Uno. As the journalist reported on his controversial claims, he violently struck her microphone and threatened her.

Women Press Freedom strongly condemns the verbal attack and  physical assault on Top News journalist Alketa Shaba during a live broadcast in Tirana by an opposition demonstrator while she covered opposition-led protests.
