Iran: State Ramps Up Arrests Of Women Journalists To Quash Mass Protests Sparked By Mahsa Amini’s Death In Police Custody

At least 18 women journalists and activists have been arrested since demonstrations broke out after the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini, who was detained and beaten by Iranian morality police for violating the country's hijab law on September 16, 2022.
