Combating Violence Against Women Journalists

To conclude the 16 days of combating Violence Against Women, we will organize a webinar to discuss forms of VAW journalists and their consequences.

The webinar should end with a set of recommendations that will be submitted to the UN mechanisms.

The webinar will be held on Monday, December 7, 2020, at 6:00 PM GMT.

Speakers will discuss violence against women journalists, the aftermath of the COVID-19 breakout, and the next steps for female reporters to combat different forms of violence online and offline.  The webinar is part of a comprehensive campaign over 16 days that include social media campaign, thread, statement, and discussions with journalists about VAW consequences.
