These broadcasters released a docuseries about Williams’ life, including details about her dementia diagnosis and guardianship matters, without legally required consent. The rejection of Williams’ request to halt the docuseries’ release raises serious concerns about potential violations of he rights to privacy.

We urge the U.S. judicial system to ensure Williams receives the justice she deserves and to hold these media companies accountable for any breaches of law and ethics. Her rights and dignity must take precedence over commercial interests.
