Journalist Kristina Demeter Filipčev was verbally and physically attacked while covering the "Stop Serbia" protest in Bečej, Vojvodina.

After questioning a group disrupting the event, she was insulted, called a "mercenary," and shoved. Filipčev has reported the attack to the police.

This marks the 2nd attack on a woman journalist covering anti-government protests on November 22 - Nova reporter Ana Marković was assaulted in Belgrade.

Violence and harassment against the press must not become the norm in Serbia.
