Women Press Freedom strongly condemns the relentless organized troll campaigns targeting Dawn News anchor Nadia Mirza, attacked for her critical coverage on women rights, corruption, and religious extremism.

This is part of a troubling pattern we have been worryingly monitoring in Pakistan, with prominent figures like Gharidah Farooqi and Asma Shirazi among those targeted.

We call on the Pakistani authorities to take immediate action to protect women journalists, both online and offline.
