Women Press Freedom is deeply concerned about the defamation case filed against Jaipur Dialogues staffer Aditi Ghosh and Bangladeshi journalist Salah Uddin Shoaib Chaudhary for allegedly disseminating false information about INC India leaders Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi.

These baseless charges represent a direct attack on press freedom and undermine the professional dignity of journalists.

We call for the immediate withdrawal of these charges and stand in solidarity with the journalists targeted by this unjust action.
