Women Press Freedom is deeply saddened by the tragic and suspicious death of Gazi TV journalist Sarah Rahanuma, whose body was found floating in a lake.

Given the alarming circumstances surrounding her death, we demand a comprehensive and independent investigation to determine the cause and hold those responsible accountable.

Our hearts go out to her family and loved ones during this devastating time.
