Women Press Freedom condemns the harassment and threats targeting Pagina/12's journalist Luciana Bertoia by the criminal group "Los Muertos Vivos." The imprisoned group members resorted to social media to threaten Bertoia. The threats against Bertoia are deeply concerning and emblematic of the escalating violence and intimidation faced by those dedicated to seeking justice and uncovering human rights abuses. We call for enhanced safeguards for journalists and urge accountability for those behind the intimidation of Bertoia.
