Evacuation and Resettlement Efforts
Since August 2021, CFWIJ has evacuated and assisted more than 800 journalists, women leaders and activists to safety.
We have done everything from relocations, and providing safe houses to safe transports to evacuate women journalists, leaders and many others with their families
Join Our Mission
Since 2019, CFWIJ has supported and advocated for more than 2781 women journalists who encountered such circumstances across 128 countries.

In 2023 and 2024, a total of 38 women journalists were detained, arrested, or imprisoned, while only 25 imprisoned journalists were released during the same period.
